How You Can Help

Thank you for your interest in helping. Every dollar you donate will go directly toward assisting students. Our administrative costs are funded by our founders. Safari Scholars is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code, and is incorporated and registered in Pennsylvania. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

What Your Money Can Buy

Each dollar makes a difference. There is no minimum or maximum amount -- every little bit helps. Here are a few examples of what can be bought with different donation levels:

What It Can Buy

Suumu Secondary School Students
Three school uniforms
Books for one student
Half year schooling costs for one Safari Scholar
Annual schooling costs for one Safari Scholar
Laboratory supplies for a classroom
Support for one Safari Scholar through all six years of secondary school
There are two ways to donate. You can make a donation via PayPal or you can mail a check. To keep administrative costs low we do not accept credit cards. Rather than pay money to credit card companies, we want the money to help the students.

For Schools and Organizations

There are many needs. We would be happy to work with your school or organization to identify an appropriate fundraising project. In addition to textbooks, the school needs laboratory equipment, calculators for the students, library books, a lunch room and more. Contact Us to develop a customized fundraising project or see Group Giving for examples of what can be done.
